My Story....
Established in 1980
In the fall of 1979, I bought a used Consew Blind Stitch Hemmer. I rented a Rimoldi 4 cord serger. My mom let me borrow Blackie, her Singer 111W walking foot, and my husband built me a 4×8 table. I bought a few needed supplies, worked up a basic price list, and walked into several stores. In October of that same year, I got my first drapery order. Woohoo!
In 1980 I started Minda’s Draperies and for the last 40+ years, I have been sewing. Who knew?
